Wish Identification


• Meet with the Wish Child & family and help the wish children determine their wish. The role requires you to interact with children who have a life-threatening medical condition
• Spend considerable time gathering all the necessary information from the wish child to understand their innermost wish
• Dedicate a minimum of 2-3 hours, once or twice a week for hospital visits - to meet and communicate with wish children and their families
• This role is focused and requires commitment
• Position based out of our 11 Divisions – Mumbai, Goa, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore and Hyderabad

Additional Info:
 You need to have a genuine passion to make a real difference and have empathy for children with life-threatening medical conditions
 Minimum age criteria is 18 yrs
 Open to housewives / retired persons / anyone with time at hand !
 Attend on-going training programs as and when required

Deliverables expected

• Work in pairs (with another volunteer) at a mutually decided Hospital
• Identify no more than 5 wishes during every Hospital visit
• Manage the flow of information between the family and the Make-A-Wish division office
• Act as a liaison between the Hospital and the Make-A-Wish division office for all requirements and arrangements

Define how you will measure the success of this project

• Based on number of Wishes Identified during every Hospital visit
• Based on the variety and quality of wishes

• Will increase the number of children (suffering from life threatening illness) we connect with
• Will further propel us towards our mission of granting the true wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy
• To achieve our Goal of granting the 40,000th wish by September 2016 on Make-A-Wish India's 20th Anniversary
